		Greater Wheats Valley North Bedford County Curtis
			We want to thank Virginia United Land Trust for hosting the land preservation workshop at Holiday Lake 4-H Camp, May 2, 2002. Our group, Bedford Citizens for Land Preservation, learned a great deal, made valuable contacts and had the opportunity to express, as requested, what we wanted to find preserved twenty-five years from now. Along with large general concerns, we specifically championed the Curtis community and surrounding area of northwestern Bedford County. It is a region of uncommon natural beauty and deserves careful protection in view of the county’s swiftly growing population. In taking stock of this area, BCLP finds the following important factors to justify their choices.
